PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

The WDPG® program is designed to address the commercial insurance needs of WDPG members and non-members whose primary products are welding gases and supplies. Operations may also include gas distribution, acetylene manufacturing, service and repair of welding equipment, sale and rental of cylinders, delivery of gas in cylinders and bullk, and some sales of medical supplies and fire extinguishing equipment. Expected gases would include acetylene, oxygen, argon, carboc dioxide, mapp gases, LPG and nitrous oxide. the program is flexible and can address the diverse needs of large and small distributors. Other operations that are owned or operated by WDPG® prospects may be considered if their hazards are acceptable. Each risk will be individually underwritten and priced.

Underwriting Requirements

Underwriting acceptability of each risk/location will generally be determined by, but not limited to evaluation of the following:
Completed ACORD application
Completed WDPG® Supplemental Questionaire (Exhibit I)
Verified prior three year loss experience, plus current year.
Complete drivers list

A completed application should be received a minimum of 30 days prior to effective date. Additional time is requested for accounts with premiums over $100,000. If you are unsure as to eligibility, the underwriters are available and would be happy to discuss initial account acceptibility.
